- Feed Gas Pretreatment: desulfurization protects catalysts and ensures system efficiency.
- Steam Methane Reforming: hydrocarbon reacts with steam at 700-950 ℃: CH₄ + H₂O = CO + 3H₂.
- Water-Gas Shift: CO converts with steam into additional hydrogen: CO + H₂O = CO₂ + H₂.
- PSA Purification: CO₂, CO and CH₄ are removed to deliver high-purity hydrogen.
JOSHINING offers turnkey delivery, from process design and module prefabrication to installation and commissioning.
A: SMR (Steam Methane Reforming) remains the most economical technology for large-scale industrial hydrogen production. If natural gas, LNG, or biogas is readily available locally, the operating cost (OPEX) of an SMR plant is significantly lower than water electrolysis, which depends heavily on affordable electricity.
A: Yes. By integrating our optional CO₂ Capture Systems (CCUS Ready Design), the carbon emissions generated during the reforming process can be effectively captured and sequestered, upgrading your facility into a clean, environmentally friendly Blue Hydrogen production plant.
A: Because our systems feature modular and skid-mounted designs, a major portion of assembly and testing is completed in our manufacturing facility. This drastically reduces site installation and commissioning time to just a few weeks, compared to months for traditional stick-built plants.
A: All JOSHINING SMR hydrogen plants are equipped with fully automatic control systems based on PLC, DCS, or SCADA architectures. These systems feature real-time sensor monitoring, emergency shutdown loops (ESD), and safety interlocks to guarantee secure 24/7 unmanned or lean-manned operations.
