PSA Industrial Oxygen Generator Technology

Our PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) technology represents a revolution in non-cryogenic air separation and oxygen generation, utilizing a special grade of Zeolite Molecular Sieve (ZMS).

The system operates by passing compressed air through a Twin Tower PSA module with automatic changeover valves. After drying in a Refrigerated Dryer, the air contacts the ZMS bed which preferentially adsorbs nitrogen molecules. While one tower produces nitrogen, the other undergoes regeneration through depressurization. The oxygen output is collected in a surge vessel where pressure is maintained by a Back Pressure Regulator.

Operating Principle

The system utilizes zeolite molecular sieve as a sorbent to produce oxygen through PSA technology. The molecular sieve demonstrates greater nitrogen adsorption capacity than oxygen under specific pressures. A PLC controls pneumatic valves to alternate adsorption and desorption cycles between two towers, achieving oxygen/nitrogen separation and producing oxygen at desired purity levels.
