Air consists of 78% nitrogen and 21% oxygen. PSA nitrogen generation technology separates these components by adsorbing oxygen and extracting nitrogen through Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) process using two vessels filled with Carbon Molecular Sieves (CMS).
Operation Process
Step 1: Adsorption
Pre-filtered compressed air passes through one CMS-filled vessel where oxygen is adsorbed, producing nitrogen as the product gas.

Step 2: Desorption
When CMS becomes saturated with oxygen, the process switches to the second vessel while the first begins desorption and regeneration, discharging waste gases.

Part of the produced nitrogen purges into the saturated vessel to regenerate the CMS for the next cycle, ensuring continuous nitrogen production.
